The Church dedicated to St. Mary of the Reed, is located in front of the body of water of the village's Gallipoli reeds. It was' built in the latter half of the seventeenth century on an ancient church already exists. It is said that the place where the church was built, due to a fire in that area, the fishermen of Gallipoli recuperated in the fire intact and a painting of the Virgin Mary and then joins a miracle at the site. Can not go unnoticed by the color of its stone and the beautiful and highly decorated portal of local stone round arch. Inside, there are exposed wooden beams and two altars, one of which is the effigy of Our Lady of Reed.
